- Each 3-week senior block is a 3-credit course except as noted below for externship and vacation.
- One of the 3-week blocks is a vacation block (0 credits). Although students are encouraged to take the vacation block, they may opt to take a course instead of this vacation block.

- Block 17 will end at noon on the Monday prior to graduation after the new senior class begins rotations.
- Block change days will become regular working days and orientation will be streamlined or eliminated.
- Externship

§ Required, 0.5 credit, Pass/Not Pass practicum for all DVM students
§ All students would be required to be on campus during part of this holiday time.

§ Students would have approximately 5-6 days of vacation in the half of the holiday period that they were not assigned to the VTH.
